Play It Forward Instrument Donor Process Overview

Instrument Donors are needed to make it all work! Donating is simple.

1. Find a Play It Forward Donation Site (PIF-DS) – Browse the current list of PIF-DS for a location near you and select it.
2. Create a Donor Account-Tell us about you and your instrument You can even upload a photo of your instrument, input details about it, and share the story the instruments importance in your life and the significance of your donation.
3. Drop Off – Drop off the instrument at the PIF-DS you selected (Map of PIF-DS provided) and be sure to print a copy of the Donor and Instrument information and attach it securely to your instrument. Your instrument will then be assessed and then added to our available PIF-DS instruments list.
4. Program Placement & Updates – Once a Teacher Request for your type of instrument is received and funded, our crack team will ship your instrument directly to the music program in need of the very instrument you are donating. Now comes the fun part. You will receive exciting updates about the impact your instrument is making in the lives of the children in the music program selected. Please share these updates with your circle of friends, family and co-workers. By spreading the word you can ensure more instruments find their way from the closet to the classroom, and more people donate funds to get them there.

*Ear Candy is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, and all instrument & financial donations are Tax Deductible to the extent allowed by law.
