Nate Anderson - Founder / PresidentNate is the authentically over-flowing engine of Ear Candy. He is not a musician, a teacher, or a parent, yet his passion to share music with the youth of the world is uncanny, unstoppable and contagious. In a short amount a time Nate has created a sustainable community driven model to address the need for music education in a Arizona which is dead last in per person educational funding. In 2010 Ear Candy will impact well over 10,000 youth in the Phoenix area while they expand their model to other markets in need across the country.
In 2009, Nate has been named the
Best Sales Person of a Good Cause by the Phoenix New Times, and won a
Pyro Award saluting inspiring agents of positive change in the community. In 2010, he was named in the
Business Journal’s 40 under 40 recognizing young leaders in the community and he is an official nominee for the 2010 Individual
Governor’s Art Award.

Kris Hill - Program Director 
A graduate of Arizona State University, Kris had the opportunity to study with renowned composer Daniel Lentz and performing artist Richard Lehrman. He developed his skills accompanying ballet & modern classes on piano, guitar, & percussion and composing for modern dance performances at ASU for 10 years. Some of his compositions for dance have been performed at the Joyce, Soho, NYU, Wave Dance Fest. NYC, Arizona Museum for Youth, and Virginia Piper Theater. Performance credits also include Reagan Center; Museo del Barrio, NYC; the Olympia Dome, WA; and Woodstock as well as many international venues. Kris is a member of some other local groups where he plays keyboards, guitar, & percussion. Calo Flamenco: A 20 piece flamenco troupe, The Drunken Immortals: a seven-piece hip hop band who tours internationally and has many recordings to their credit, The Pangean World Orchestra: An orchestra of musicians and instruments from around the globe, and CBJ Flamenco Ensemble: A 6 Piece music and dance ensemble. His music can be heard in the Sony Pictures film Universal Soldier III, released February 2010 on DVD & BLue Ray. Kris has spent many years working with at risk children in music and dance workshops throughout the valley as a guest artist with Free Arts AZ. He has taught in the Washington School district, at Metro Arts Institute, and group homes and Juvenille detention centers throughout AZ. Currently, he is Program Director of Earcandy.org and teaching guitar at Notre Dame Preparatory. His mission is to help fulfill Ear Candy's dream of creating and providing music programming to as many people as possible.
